Yesterday I attended the rememberance ceremony commemmorating the life of Lindy's mum, Joyce Batterham. It was a tough day for Lindy and her daughters, Zoe and Ruby, but they all handled it very well.
Amongst those helping to remember Joyce were musicians Jeannie Lewis and Peter Winkler, and Jack Mundey. I think Jack said he was now 86, but he is still quite sharp.
It was enlightening to learn more of Lindy's family history, going way back to Joyce's mum, as well as the history of Castlecrag.
The ceremony went very well, and given the difficult circumstances surround Joyce's passing, was a credit to Lindy's capabilities.
