I’m a member of the Microsoft Partner program, and a few moments ago Mr FedEx turned up at my front door with my latest Microsoft Action Pack update. A package from my favourite uncle Bill, if you like.
The package consisted of a few disks, along with a nice sheet of paper describing the various items included. This is normal and expected.
One of the features listed refers to Windows Desktop Licensing, and the topic begins thusly: “Understanding Windows desktop licensing has never been easier”. That is followed by another few lines of discourse on how easy Windows Desktop Licensing is.
It then ends with a reference to a course that I need to complete in order that I am able to understand the topic.
Huh?? What new meaning of the word “easy” is this, such that I need to complete a course in order to be able to understand it?
That’s what I call laughable.
