The empire is about to remodel its music room. This means that it will be closing its doors shortly, for perhaps a period of up to 6 months.

Along with the loss of this venue, this means that we’ll be losing two regular jam sessions: the Wednesday night jams, run by Jim Finn and Al Britton, and the end of month Sydney Blues Society jams.

This Saunday, April 29, marks the final SBS jam in its current guise, and we’re waiting to hear where it’s going to be moved to.

I understand that the Wednesday jam may continue up to May 9. Again, we’re waiting to see where it will be held.
